SPECIAL REGULATIONS
1st Extreme Enduro Race  GREECE KASTORIA September 20/21, 2025 – M.O.K. REGION OF WEST MACEDONIA


 

ARTICLE 1. GENERAL

 

The athletic club M.O.K., with Sports Recognition Number FM06, following approval by A.MOTO.E., is organizing the 1st Extreme Enduro Race for the year 2025, to be held on September 20-21, 2025.

The races will be conducted in accordance with:

  • Sports Law 2725/99 and its subsequent amendments

  • The current General and Technical Regulations for Enduro Races of A.MOTO.E.

  • The Extreme Enduro Race Proclamation of A.MOTO.E.

  • These Special Regulations

  • Any Information Bulletins that may be issued.


RACE LOCATIONS: The race Paddock, Secretariat, and Technical Inspection / Park-Ferme area will be located in the public spaces opposite the Aquarium and a section of DINAK Kastoria. GPS = 40.51166426783099, 21.25390048677624


 

ARTICLE 2. PROGRAM

 

REGISTRATION OPENS: 25/08/2025
REGISTRATION CLOSES: 10/09/25, 24:00 (for timely entries) 19/09/25, 24:00
SCRUTINEERING - TECHNICAL INSPECTION: Saturday 08:00 to 11:00
START LIST PUBLICATION: Saturday 11:15 and 11:30
RIDERS' BRIEFING: Saturday 11:45
RACES START:

  • Prologue: Saturday 20/09/25 at 12:00

  • Main Race: Sunday 21/09/25 at 10:00

RESULTS PUBLICATION: 15 minutes after the last rider finishes.
AWARD CEREMONY: 30 minutes after the publication of results, which then become final.

ARTICLE 4. RACE DESCRIPTION

 

Prologue: On Saturday, a course of approximately 1.5km will be held in the public area opposite the Aquarium, consisting of technical obstacles (logs, tires, etc.). The start will be according to the participants' registration order. It is mandatory for all categories. Those who do not start the prologue will receive a 180-minute penalty, while those who start but fail to finish will receive a 90-minute penalty.

Main Race: The race course will start from the old KTEO (vehicle inspection center) location outside the village of Tixio, near Kastoria, with the Pro category first, followed by the Expert, Veteran,  and finally the Women's category. The race course will be common for all categories, with the exception of the Pro category, which will complete additional sections. The finish line will be located after the village of Aposkepos,near Kastoria, on the old provincial road connecting Kastoria and Prespes. In the middle of the course, there will be a service point in the village of Oxya, , where competitors can refuel and perform service. During the race, external assistance is PROHIBITED (punishable by disqualification) except at designated points where event personnel will be present. Assistance is only permitted between riders.


 

ARTICLE 5. 
TECHNICAL INSPECTION

 

Submitting an entry form automatically implies full acceptance and knowledge of both the special and general regulations by the participant.


GREEK ATHLETS


To participate, an athlete MUST be registered and appear in the A.MOTO.E. electronic system and possess a valid Athlete's Health Card..

Technical inspection will include everything stated in the Enduro Technical Regulations. Any deviation from the requirements will result in disqualification from the race. Should anything escape the attention of the technical commissioner, it does not mean that any violation or non-compliance with the technical regulations as published by A.MOTO.E. is accepted. The competitor bears full responsibility..For a motorcycle to be accepted in the race, it must have an engine displacement of 125cc (two-stroke) or 250cc (four-stroke) and above. Additionally, it is imperative that the motorcycle be registered, possess valid insurance, and display official license plates."

INTERNATIONAL ATHLETS

Obtaining the mandatory starting permission from your national motorcycle federation is required. Upon receiving this permission, please forward it to the Greek federation president's email address  president@amotoe.gr  . from25/08/25 to  10/09/25, 24:00

ARTICLE 6. IMPOUND PARC (PARK-FERME)

 

In the impound parc area, the motorcycle will be entered by the athlete themselves and placed in the designated area by the Park-Ferme official.

After the race, motorcycles will only be released from the Park-Ferme by the athlete. Motorcycles will not be released to mechanics or other individuals.


 

ARTICLE 7. ENTRIES


GREEK ATHLETS


All entries are declared via the A.MOTO.E. electronic platform, at e-amotoe.gr. ONLY athletes whose Sports Clubs are registered in e-kouros may participate. Foreign athletes participating with a Starting Permission will be classified and awarded, but WILL NOT be scored, with their points being awarded to the next Greek athletes.

HEALTH CARD Participants must provide and display their health card, which must be a physical (paper) card and not digital, as photographs are not permitted. An athlete who DOES NOT have a physical card will not be permitted to participate in the race, even if registered on e-amotoe.gr.

Rider Participation Requirements and Organizer Disclaimer

 

When an FMN (National Motorcycle Federation) grants a rider Starting Permission—signified by their signature and stamp—they are confirming the rider meets the following crucial criteria:

  • Valid Insurance: The rider possesses insurance specifically for motorcycling sports, compliant with FIM Europe standards.

  • No Prohibitions: There are no active bans or prohibitions preventing the rider's participation in the event.

  • Physical and Mental Fitness: The rider is deemed physically and mentally capable of safely participating in the event.

  • Appropriate Skill Level: The rider possesses the necessary sporting skills to participate without posing a danger to themselves or other competitors.

ARTICLE 8. ENTRY FEES


GREEK ATHLETS


Entry fees are set at €80. Late entries will be subject to an additional charge of €20. Entry declarations are made through the Federation's electronic system (e-amotoe.gr).

INTERNATIONAL ATHLETS

Obtaining the mandatory starting permission from your national motorcycle federation is required. Upon receiving this permission, please forward it to the Greek federation president's email address   president@amotoe.gr  . from25/08/25 to  10/09/25, 24:00

ARTICLE 9. CATEGORIES – PARTICIPATION NUMBERS

 

The categories will be as follows:

  1. Pro

  2. EXPERT

  3. Veteran (athletes over 42 years old)

  4. Women (regardless of age)

Participation numbers will be assigned by the organization.
